Father’s Day Fishing

15 Jun Father’s Day Fishing

Meet Jack Arnot, our new Frost Creek fishing ambassador. Jack is part of the activities department and is available this season for fishing tips, fishing lessons and overseeing the fishing waters at Frost Creek. Growing up in Eagle, Jack started fishing at the age of 12. He competed on the USA Youth Fly Fishing team for 3 years, was a National Champion in 2016 and participated in 2 World Fly Fishing Championships in Galicia, Spain and Vail, Colorado.  Jack says, “I enjoy sharing this sport with others and teaching the younger generation a passion for the outdoors.” Finishing his freshman year at Colorado State University, Jack is focused on making the men’s World Fly Fishing Team for 2021.

Jack will be leading a Father’s Day fishing event at Frost Creek on Sunday, June 21, 2020 from 10am to 11:30am. Please RSVP to Carrie by Saturday at 3pm. Bring your own gear (fly rods or spinner rods). Jack will be giving some casting tips,  fly/lure tying instruction and proper handling of the fish for catch and release at Frost Creek. We look forward to a fun fishing day with Dad.

If you are interested in 2.5 hour fishing lessons with Jack this season, he is available Friday through Tuesday 7:30am to 10am.
